Youth Muster is an annual camp organised by the Anglican Diocese of Armidale. It introduces young people in the Armidale Anglican Diocese to Jesus Christ, and it helps them as they travel home to heaven.
In 2017, we learnt from the New Testament letter of 1 Peter as we thought about what it means for Christians to live as exiles in this world. It was a great weekend of fun, fellowship and learning.

SOME HISTORY
Back in the 1950's, the vicar of Bingara, John Wagstaff wanted to gather the teenagers of the Armidale Diocese for a weekend of fellowship and learning from God's word.
He asked Graham Delbridge (Youth Director of the Sydney Anglican Diocese) for help, and John Chapman and Allen Quee were sent from Sydney to give him a hand. Over the Easter weekends of 1952 & 1953, young people from over the Diocese camped in a wool shed in Bingara and learnt about Jesus. We've been doing the same thing for the last couple of years, as we've camped in Bingara and heard about Jesus. It's great that we were able to do this again in 2017! |
