Fuel Youth Leaders weekend is for anyone who leads youth ministry in the Armidale Anglican Diocese.

It’s an excellent weekend of Equipping, Encouragement and Networking.

SPEAKERS

RICK LEWERS

Rick Lewers is the Bishop of the Armidale Diocese, where he oversees the ministry of the diocese, encourages the gospel workers of the diocese, and recruits the gospel workers of the future.

Before he became our Bishop, he served in churches in Sydney and Canberra, and he used to work for Evangelism Ministries in the Diocese of Sydney.

He is married to Janene, and they have three adult children. While he loves to fish and is a passionate South Sydney supporter, his greater passions are to preach the Gospel, to teach God’s Word and to see people raised mature in Christ.

GAVIN PERKINS

Gav Perkins is an assistant minister at St Thomas' North Sydney. Throughout his ministry, he has been involved in church planting and training people for a lifetime of ministry through the Ministry Training Strategy (MTS) and the Cornhill Preaching Course.

Gav is married to Amy, and they have three kids. Sophie, Hannah, and Elliot.

He loves running, Chelsea FC, good coffee, the South Sydney Rabbitohs and thinks that OK Computer by Radiohead was the last great album made. But more important is his love for Jesus, and telling others about Him.
